Refund Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-26

You buy Better Infer balance from Paddle, which is the seller (merchant of record) and pays out refunds. This policy explains when we give you your money back. Paddle’s own refund policy applies as well.

1. Refund of unused balance within 90 days

You can ask for a refund of your unused balance within 90 days of a top-up, without giving a reason. We refund the balance you still have, but no more than the amount you paid in the last 90 days, and the tax on the refunded amount is refunded with it. Balance you have already used is not refunded.

2. Statutory right of withdrawal

If you live in the EU/EEA or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days. Paddle handles it according to its refund policy. It does not limit your refund under section 1.

3. When we also refund your balance

  • We end your account without you having breached the terms.
  • You end the contract because you do not agree with a change of the terms (Terms of Service, section 10).
  • You do not accept a price increase and ask for a refund until 14 days after it took effect (Terms of Service, section 4).

In both cases the whole unused balance is refunded, whatever the age of the top-up.

4. How to ask

Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account. We reply promptly and start the refund through Paddle. Paddle returns the money to your original payment method, which usually takes up to 14 days. Your balance is reduced by the refunded amount.

5. After the period, defects and misuse

After 90 days we decide case by case. If the Service was defective or unavailable, tell us; your statutory rights remain unaffected. We can refuse or take back a refund if we find fraud or abuse.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before you dispute a payment with your bank. A chargeback reduces your balance by the disputed amount and suspends your account automatically (see the Terms of Service, section 7). We lift the suspension after we have reviewed the case.
